Centre for Inclusive Education Participated in Meeting-Seminar Dedicated To Innovative School
Professional Forum for Education Association organized on March 24, 2016 at the National Museum of Military History spring meeting-seminar “The Innovative School”. Official guests of the event were Dian Stamatov, Deputy Minister of education and science, Vanya Kastreva, Head of Regional Inspectorate of Education – Sofia region and Maria Mincheva, Director of Sofia Municipality Education Department.

Yurii Andjekarski, president of Professional Forum for Education Association and principal of the first charter school in Bulgaria 151 Secondary School for Profiling to Interests, talked during the opening about competences which the children of today should acquire in school. The following presentations examined innovative school models, realized through the years: 151 SSFPI, 98 Primary School, Sofia (since 1989), the alternative pedagogic model “Zornitsa” (Sofia,1994 – 2004).

It was announced the launch of Competition-Startup for school models, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the creation of 151 SSPI, aiming to collect new ideas for innovative school models, to increase the visibility of their authors, who will be supported by mentors and as a result а collection will be published.

During the forum, Centre for Inclusive Education was represented by Zdrava Stoeva, communications expert.

Children in the big world

Global and inclusive educations are two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, we focus on children in order to support them and develop their potential. On the other hand, we teach children how they, their decisions and actions have an impact on the overall world and on all other people living in it.
