Centre for Inclusive Education Presented GIFT for Europe (greentourism.eu) Tool

On a special event in mid-October, 2017, Centre for Inclusive Education presented GIFT for Europe Tool (greentourism.eu).

During two days Iva Boneva, Dimiter Lazarov and Stefan Stefanov presented Green Ideas for Tourism for Europe project .

The functions and possible uses of the instrument, as well as the innovative educational methods on which it is based were presented. Dimitar Lazarov talked about global education and project-based learning. Iva Boneva told about the mental cards and their usefulness for learning material. Stefan Stefanov presented the functions and content of the online tool.

Guests of the event were directors, teachers and representatives of non-government organizations in Bulgaria. The feedback which we received is that the online tool is very intuitive and gives good opportunities for application during teaching.

Global and inclusive educations are two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, we focus on children in order to support them and develop their potential. On the other hand, we teach children how they, their decisions and actions have an impact on the overall world and on all other people living in it.
