North-South connection: partnership for a more just world between European and African schools

Goals of the project: 
To implement a model programme increasing awareness and critical thinking about global issues among high-school students from 16 European schools in four countries and to encourage their active participation for solving these issues by focusing on the Millennium development goals. 

The project contributes to including global topics in formal education, by developing a network of global partnership between schools, teachers, NGOs and partners from the global South.

Project description:
In the period September 2013 - June 2014 four Bulgarian schools participate in conducting classes on global education and in active on-line exchange of knowledge and activities with four schools in Ghana.

Children in the big world

Global and inclusive educations are two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, we focus on children in order to support them and develop their potential. On the other hand, we teach children how they, their decisions and actions have an impact on the overall world and on all other people living in it.
