Nowadays young people communicate more easily with other communities and cultures and are active users of the products of globalization, both tangible and intangible. Few, however, know their roles and responsibilities in this new environment or what are the skills they need for active and full participation in the global community.

Global citizenship education opens the mind and heart about relationships and similarities that exist between people and communities around the world. It is basically civic education but brought on a planetary scale. It helps to better understand the economic and social processes in the world and the role of the individual in them. Global citizenship education gives young people from whom the future depends, knowledge, skills and values necessary to navigate in an increasingly connected world, so that they are able to promote more equitable and sustainable relationships between people.

This teacher training is essentially a response to two challenges in education - the need for updated content in civic education and the need for new teaching methods. This is why the ratio between theoretical and practical part is divided into 20:80%. The theoretical element is embedded in the practical part where via 'learning by doing” participants will acquire knowledge and test their skills.

Children in the big world

Global and inclusive educations are two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, we focus on children in order to support them and develop their potential. On the other hand, we teach children how they, their decisions and actions have an impact on the overall world and on all other people living in it.
