Europe’s Role and the Civic Education
Lilia Krasteva-Peeva, Monitoring and Evaluation, at Centre for Inclusive Education, presented on April 3, 2018 to teachers from all over the country methods and subjects on global citizenship education at the seminar “Europe’s Role and the Civic Education”.

The forum was organized by the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria. It aimed at presenting different sources in Bulgarian on the subjects of civic education to the participants – teachers of all grades of school education. The Commission also provided to teachers a space for debate for the role and place of European values for the civic education.

The European Commission Representation in Bulgaria will provide a series of follow-up initiatives in this field for which we will inform you.

One School for All

One School for All is our most encompassing and wide-reaching cause, our raison d’etre. Our ultimate goal is comprehensive introduction and application of the principles of inclusive education.

Inclusive education is a process of changing the school environment based on respect and acceptance of other people. It implies wise management of school processes in a way which makes children feel supported to develop their capacity and to overcome hardships; which makes teachers feel encouraged and confident that they are able to cope with the growing challenges, while parents are able to assume their responsibility and role in partnership with schools.
