:: QUALITY POLICY

QUALITY POLICY
Association for shared learning ELA is a non-governmental organisation whose main aim is to help as many children as possible to learn and play together with their peers. It is our belief that every child should be given a chance to feel accepted and valued, and should have the opportunity to develop their capacities. We offer solutions for inclusive education to be adopted at an increasingly conscious and meaningful rate in Bulgarian schools. We work for social inclusion and quality education of all children, and also for safeguarding those children who need this. The Centre’s team works actively with parents, teachers, school principals, specialists, municipal and government bodies, business organisations, peer professionals in the country and abroad, and we are all happy with the change we see gradually occurring.

Inclusive education means that all pupils in a school, irrespective of their strengths and weaknesses in any particular field, become part of their school community. It means they feel included in their sense of belonging with other pupils, teachers and non-teaching staff. Inclusion implies conditions of quality teaching for all children.

While pursuing its mission to build up inclusive settings, the Centre for Inclusive Education designs and delivers training and mentor programmes for increasing the capacities of mainstream and resource teachers, educators, managers of educational institutions, social workers and teams working in educational and social structures.

The training offered by the CIE covers various topics related to inclusive education. They are based on the best international and Bulgarian experience and we are always driven by our desire to offer the latest and most topical developments in this field.
